Randy K Los Angeles, CAI saw the first preview performance of "Clay," and was blown away by the theatricality and the incredible performance by Matt Sax. I rarely enjoy one-person shows, but this show illustrates the heights to which that form can rise. Special mention must be made of the artful lighting. Bravo to those who decided to take a chance on this show for the Kirk Douglas Theater audience. September 13, 2007
Brian M. North Hills, CAMore people really need to see this play! This performance absolutely grabs you. Matt Sax manages to give a performance that sells itself to everyone regardless of whether they would usually like Hip Hop music. The story line was enough to keep everyone watching. I can't stress enough just how much I enjoyed this play and performance. I went with someone who avidly disliked hip hop, and they left saying it was the best 1 person performance they have ever seen. Return to Clay details
