Porsches meet skateboards in artsy neighborhood setting.

Popular food: Brickhouse French Toast, honey wheat pancakes, Southwestern Omelette, Voodoo Burger (with Cajun spices).

Unique food: Stuffed French toast (filled with bananas, walnuts and cream cheese), Cobb omelette (turkey, tomato, avocado and green onions, blue and cheddar cheeses -- just awesome!).

Drinks: Fruit smoothies, good coffee and espresso drinks, chai, specialty teas.

Seating: Tables seat 35 inside and 15 on deck.

Ambience: Casual place for locals, Industry folks, Venice chic, underemployed writers.

Extras/Notes: T-shirts and artwork for sale by local artists on its (you guessed it) brick walls. One server's a ringer for Jennifer Aniston. Typically crowded most weekend mornings, but also steadily busy during midweek lunches. Does anyone work around here?

Parking: Free street parking.

I love this place! It has the best breakfast around with excellent omelets, scrambles and specialty pancakes and french toast. The salads are huge and I've always gotten great quality. It's a lot of bang ofr your buck.
