Career nominations: 2 The former "Titanic" heartthrob and director Martin Scorsese's latest muse picks up his first best actor nomination as the mentally troubled filmmaker, aviation pioneer and womanizer Howard Hughes. DiCaprio, 30, won the Golden Globe for best actor in a drama for the film. The actor made his movie debut in the 1991 horror film "Critters 3" and previously received an Academy Award nomination for best supporting actor in 1993's "What's Eating Gilbert Grape."
