My family and I went to the Santa Monica Pier Bubba Gump and was very impressed with the service. The environment was very friendly and I was stuffed. They have a variety of food on the menu besides shrimp. Anyone who hates Bubba Gump is probably a snobby ass so I wouldn't pay too much attention. My waitress Michele was very sweet and bubbly.

The most Horrible Service I have EVER HAD! The manager was even Rude when I inquired why I was being charged more for a meal they had been listed in the menus they were handing out on the pier. And they charged the 15% gratuity, we were all paying seperately..they didn't bother to do well. The people at the door Gave Me the Wrong Address to send the survey to that they left with your reciept. Now that's just Pathetic. Don't give this place buiseness, save you time and money.

They use a lot of sugar at Bubba's so if you like a lot of sugar, you will like Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.. Also, the waiters are programmed to sit with you at the table and tell you about the menu. Didn't see any outdoor dining, although maybe I missed it somewhere. The food was fine for a beer place.
