If you want Ramen, this is the best I had so far! It is a little pricey, but it's real, organic food. Mix that in with a very attentive server and a cool atmosphere and you have a regular joint. The only bad thing is well not for me anyway that the servings are not jumbo, American portions enough to feed 3 people. I think that's gross to have a huge tub of soup, so if you like huge meals with commercial tasting noodles, definitely not the place for you.

There is no bacon used in their soup, so not to worry. The broth is very rich and meaty, though, and the chashu is melt-in-your-mouth perfect. The noodles are a tad bit springy for my tastes, but the rest of it is so unbelievably delicious it doesn't really matter. Highly recommended but not quite a rave.

I must say that it is not as good as when it first opened, only because it is not as authentic as it used to be. By this I mean that the soup was more creamy and tasty, and the pork was more fatty. Unfortunately, to cater to ameican markets, they had to change their recipe. It is still good, but if you are looking for a more authentic tonkotsu ramen, then go to Daikokuya in Little Tokyo. Vegetarians and Vegans need not bother going as it is authentic japanese ramen.

Do not go here if you are committed to healthy eating or you don't eat meat; you will not even have options the menu deceives you into believing. This place came highly recommended, which says something about people's salt/grease/fat habits. I ordered what seemed to be the only non-pork, non-chicken (all broths are meat based) noodle dish: charbroiled noodles with shrimp. Imagine my horror when it came out with huge strips of bacon, all atop a greasy mass of bacon-flavored noodles. Yuck.

It's the only ramen place my boyfriend and I agree on! Love it.

Well- plain soup base and average noodle dishes. Sandwich was a plain joke-it was like chinese pork bun with dry chicken meat on them. If you want to re-create a fusion dish-be more creative! and don't call it sandwich! Service was aggressive and I wasn't too impressed with the whole experience. Good to check it out but I am not going to be a regular. So much other better ramen place on the strip.

I don't understand the other reviews. I've never had anything but great meals here. Sit at the bar and watch them concoct the soup; it's truly an art form. The food is much better than the ridiculously bland ramen-ya, and there isn't a line around the block. Plus it's much more comfortable than the other noodle joints in the neighborhood.

Not enough food served for my tummy. Broth is somewhat tasteless. The Shumai appetizer looked and tasted as if it was bought frozen and then nooked in the microwave. Unfortunately, I like Asahi Ramen a lot better. Will not go back to Chabuya. Actually Nippon Ramen in Reseda is awesome!
