Paul Culver City,

Without a doubt one of the best food experiences in LA. Amazing service, and fantastic food!

This place is insanely amazing. I'm glad there are so many idiots who don't understand good food because that makes for a shorter wait to get seated.

Oh my goodness! ...is all i have to say. One of the best places to open in LA in years. I couldn't decide which dish i like better, they are all wonderful.

eclectic - food, service, style and furnishings. small portions for grazing and sharing over a glass of wine or sake. can get crowded with patrons' tables and chairs close to each other. pricey if you order many dishes. nice colleciton of other Japanese and Asian restaurants nearby to please your taste and budget.

The best thing about Orris is you can buy every wine by the glass. Price is very reasonable, including corkage fee on ONLY $15. Of the 7 dishes we had, the best was Shishito Peppers with Prosciuto and Parmesan. Most disappointing was the Halibut Tempura - that was not tempura, it was fish and chips sans chips. And the curry infused "tempura" batter is nothing new - it's Kona style fish and chips. I enjoyed it overall, but the food can use a little work.

If it were socially acceptable, I would have licked the plates clean. Simply put, its more than a meal... its a freakin' religious experience.
