I'm not sure why everyone is so hard on Brass Cap - the food, service and facility are excellent. Yes - I would say you pay more here than other locations but quality costs money... and every detail of the place is really well delivered. I had exceptional service and think the ownership should be complimented on continuing to make improvements - to over deliver.. because I had a most enjoyable meal on 11.24.07. Give this place another look

the critic here is mostly correct and the mussels are something to compliment. but besides that, the money spent is not warranted on these mostly lackluster main course plates- the veal stew was tasteless, the steaks a step up from denny's but not by much. went on a sunday when the place was practically empty yet found the service a bit slow.
