I feel smarter after eating at Literati. The photos on the wall and well behaved staff compliment the delicious food in a way that makes me feel good about myself. As if I'm proud to be eating there, among some of Los Angeles' most well respected thinkers and doers (and eaters apparently).
It's almost like a quick vacation or a food sanctuary where you go to be taken care of.
Every meal is a Happy Ending.

We've become regulars at this excellent neighborhood restaurant. The only dish I wasn't wild about was a pasta I tried one night - I agree with the other reviewer that it was dry. But everything else has been exceptional! Make a res or be prepared to wait - Literati2 has been discovered!

Last night I had the best lobster ever. Grilled to perfection. Finished meal with outstanding raspberry crisp. Exceptional experience.

I love the food at Literati II. The seafood is always divine and I've found the servers to be exceptionally helpful when I've asked for recommendations. I highly recommend this place to my friends.

Something has changed for the worse at this rerstaurant.
Several months ago, the food was delicious & the service poor.
Now the service is excellent & the food close to inedible.

Service is good,food NOT that great. I had pasta wich was awful. It was too dry, lacking flavor, and not cooked very well. I suggest, when and if you visit this restaurant, do not to sit by the kitchen (and of course don't order pasta). There is too much screaming coming out of that kitchen.

I've driven past this corner a million times before a friend told me to meet her there for dinner. I can't believe this restaurant has been open in west la for 2 years and I hadn't even tried it yet. It was AMAZING. The food was incredible and everything felt good about the place. I look forward to going again soon.

This was my first time at this restaurannt. I am not much of an eater outer but had a good time with my family and friends.
A nice experience. the food was hot and good.

Was an interesting experience to drive to the wessside to meets some old friends for dinner last thursday night.
Stated off with a salad that was very good. My wife had meat.
Very good desert.
