Some of the freshest and tastiest sushi I've ever had. Being an avid fisherman, I really appreciate fresh, high quality fish. The chefs do an excellent job in the preparation and presentation of the food.

Chef Abe is definitely a Master. I've rarely seen Japanese food done with such finesse and creativity. The quality of the ingredients are top notch as was the quality of service. We had a wonderful time. Can't wait to go back.

We went to Bluefin on the recommendation of a close friend and had an incredible dining experience. What a breath of fresh air to have such a gem in Orange County. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. Cheers to Bluefin.

we went for lunch and were very disappointed. the tasting menu was nothing special with a plate of not-so-fresh sushi at the end. also, the sushi rice was too hard. no service. poor attitude. two of us spent $95, not including gratuity, for lunch, and could definitely have gotten better sushi (and service) at any other sushi restaurants for half the price! what a waste of space in such a beautiful place!!

We went to Bluefin for the 1st time. Overall, we were underwhelmed. 1) I must have asked the server 3 times about what is on the tasting menu. NO idea- $75 and no idea .... - 2) calamari (very crisp- serving small), yellowtail (5 good thick slices), a crunchy roll, sushi dinner (garnished each piece differently- nice), and duck with foie gras (too sweet). 3)server recommended a Mojito- turned out like Koolaid, but sweeter. Awful. Overall, spent $150 but we would've spent more if it worth it.

The BEST sushi restaurant in OC. My husband and I gave up on OC for sushi until we dined @ Bluefin. If you are into fresh sashimi, this is definitely the place to get it. It is pricey but your paying for sushi grade fish and the ambiance. For the SO-SO reviews...maybe make a reservation next time.

Great Fine Dining! Food is exceptional and the service is good. If you are looking at prices, worried about the enviornment, or don't own a coat please don't dine here. Expect to dine for 2 hours min. Servers will not bother you or explain anything unless you call them over.

I heard many good things about this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did. I tried the "omakase" based on some recommendations and all I can say is "amazing." Course after course of creative and tasty dishes finishing with some of the freshest sushi I have ever had. All in all, an excellent experience.

We had a dinner few weeks ago at Bluefin. We were waiting for 30 min to order drinks and another 30 min to have a first bite. The service was just horrible... The food was ok. If you want to go there, you should have plenty time for dinner.
