Super cool, Super hip! The Sushi chefs were very accommadting to my girlfriends who never tried sushi and made it a very pleasant and tasty experience for them. They were delighted and anxious to come back. As for me an "avid" sushi person... I love their selection of specialty rolls. The Mt. Washington roll is to die for! My gals will be back. I just hope they start serving martinis too.!!! :)

This place is probably the biggest disappointment I have experienced in years. The sushi looked far from fresh and tasted slimy at best. The tempura was greasy and lacked flavor beyond fry oil. But worse is the attitude, the prices and cheesy decor. The restaurant provides East LA quality food with West LA snobbery. With so many amazing sushi joints in LA (Katsu-Ya to name one) I am glad to know that I will never waste my money or time at Mia again. Yech.

My friend and I went to Mia Sushi on Friday evening for the first time and had a blast! The service was as fast as lightning and the food was outstanding. I highly reccommend the Tempura Calimari that melts in your mouth like cotton candy. We sat on the outside patio and dined under the stars until we had our fill. I can't wait to return :)
