This place is not ready for prime time. My guest and I arrived promptly at 6pm to a chaotic mess: tables were still being cleaned and set, there was no hostess, nothing was offered to pass the time, etc. The place was completely empty, but the attitude was pretentious, especially from the general manager who tried to pass himself off as a made guy. He was a complete turnoff and became argumentative. There are much nicer and better run restaurants int area.

Sitting under the gorgeous olive tree on the moonlit patio while sipping fine wine and adoring every bite of our appetizers (raviolis, scallops), entrees (veal, short ribs), amazing cheese tray and desserts (sherbert and ice creams) - a perfect dinner on a Friday night! What more could you ask for in this hustle-and-bustle town? It's elegant and casual, classy and inviting. Hurry before you can't get in on a Friday night! Well done Andrew Steiner, Eric Greenspan and staff!

I went to Patina and Meson G when Executive Chef Greenspan was there, but the Foundry is by far the best. If you go, you MUST get the Jidan chicken and the pork belly appetizer. The skirt steak was also a delight. The service around our table was almost laughably majestic and our 2 hour meal had no awkward breaks in between. Get there now before they jack up the prices and put you on a month long wait list.

This amazing new place is firing on all cylinders already. It offers inventive, world-class cuisine, at a reasonable price, in either a beautiful dining room or a charming outdoor patio with fireplace. My recent dinner of ahi prepared two ways, pasta with fava beans, veal, a plate of four cheeses and a bowl of ice cream, sorbet and granita was quite wonderful. Emphasis is on dishes of exquisite simplicity with superb ingredients. Service is absolutely outstanding as well.
