I have been there appox 4 times. The first 2 times were amazing. However, the food was WAY TOO SALTY the last 2 times :( What is happening?? I thought I finally found a keeper..

Went for Valentine's day and I was really amazed at the high level of quality and service. I was reluctant to go here because of a bad experience at Trouquets which preceeded Marche in this spot, and which had a total "mall" feel to it. Marche Moderne dooesn't give you any indication you are part of a mall especially the outside patio which is very pretty. I was amazed at how the chefs worked in such quiet unison. The food was pure art! I will go back many times it is simply outstanding.

The lunch prix fixe is a steal at $20. An outstanding meal. Pan seared duck was moist and perfectly cooked, almost but not quite as good as the duck at Pinot Provence across the street. Service was perfection. Really nothing to complain about. It's an all around fantastic french bistro. One of the best in Socal.

You must be kidding me with all these reviews I have read. The green vegetables are murdered to the point of mush and they tell me its the french way.. Ive eaten in french places and this has never been the case.The fish was soggy. ossobuco was a bunch of pieces with bone centered around them Ive never been to a place where i got bits and a meat.just b/c he buys nice stuff doesnt mean he knows what hes doing with it
Think again people before going here.. its not worth the over priced menu

Fabulous food! One of the best lamb dishes I have ever eaten. Gorgeous presentation Great service for both food and wine. Bring your own bottle. Very wine frindly place! Beautiful bistro atmosphere.

I visited this fabulous restaurant with my culinary group last night and have to say it was absolutely delightful. The service was excellent although busy for a weeknight. I am a seafood-a-holic and I enjoyed the best clam dish I've ever had. It was perfect.

I had the pleasure of taking my wife & mom out for a Saturday night dinner at Marche Moderne this past weekend. Our night was PERFECT!
Some of the excellent foods that we shared included cold foie gras w/pineapple, an incredible beet salad, halibut, delicious skate wing, coq au vin style rabbit, & 3 desserts.
This was the finest dining experience that I have ever had in a beautiful & relaxed environment. We have repeat reservations in August - CAN'T WAIT!

We started off with the beet salad and the black truffle and asparagus tart. My only criticism of the tart was that there were nearly no black tuffles. We followed with rabbit and lamb. Both were unbelievable and served in cast iron pots. Desert was a chocholate souffle that did not dissappoint. I did ask for a mint tea and was suprised to receive a prepackaged tea bag in a box! This was a real disappointment but did not take away from the wondeful experience.

Both the service & the food are at a top level. I'm French and it is by far the best French restaurant I've been to in the US in my 10 years here. It's elegant, refine and tasty. The portions are perfect, enough to fill you but not stuff you so you can handle a desert, because you don't want to miss that! I've been there twice & can't wait to back. They have a great $20 three course menu for lunch that is "parfait". The wine bar is pretty impressive too, with a nice selection by the glass.

Such a beautiful restaurant! Whether you're dining inside or outside on the patio, the ambiance is wonderful! The food is probably the best food in all of Orange County. I've been there twice now with friends and have tried the Seabass, Lamb and Steak. All of it superb. The seabass has to be the best seabass I've ever had. It was fenominal. For desert I had the small chocolate cake with mocha ice cream. Also, extremely good!
