THe steaks are great, the shrimp delishous, and even the house martini is good. The only downside is the Baked Potato which seems to be cooked earlier and then microwaved when brought to the table.

Worst Experience in a Restaurant Ever: Can't say it strong enough or loud enough: avoid this place at all costs. With so many other places to get a good steak in LA, why bother with a restaurant the offers lousy service, over-cooked steaks, and a smug, arrogant owner and staff who flat-out lie to the customer. This is a place well past it's prime in service, food, and ambiance.

After living in L.A. for many years, I finally had the chance to experience this old-world classic eatery. I was part of a holiday party of 9 people...service was good, food excellent although not as hot as it could have been. Overall, a nice expereince!

My wife & I went there in 1995 and loved it. They shot a scene from "Chinatown" there in 1974, and the restaurant still has the old Hollywood elegance: classy but low key.

Yes, yes, yes. Excellent all the way around at a reasonable price. Old school feel - absolutely love it.

We're originally from St. Louis and Taylor's restaurant best reminds my family and me of the good midwest steakhouses, service and ambience we love. Taylor's has flavorful, succulent grilled steaks, excellent service, and the rich, dark wood decor and red banquettes. I "discovered" Taylor's in 1991, to take my dad for his 78th birthday. Since then we've made Taylor's our "celebration" restaurant, when we want to enjoy and remember a special occasion- at a reasonable cost.

A wonderful steakhouse with ambiance that can't be beat. A real Koreatown treasure to have in our neighborhood, this place is classic.
