David Sanchez Rosemead, CAThis is on my short list of places to take out of town guests in order to show them the best of Los Angeles. The food is top notch and the drinks are even better. The staff manages their limited capacity very well and usually there very little wait to be seated. Look out for the USC home game crowd, it can be pretty crowded after a game. I don't know why the Pasadena location seperated from the original, different ownership? The Pasadena location keeps up the high standards of the original. December 22, 2005
lorenzo l.a., caI prefer the one in Pasadena, which was remodeled from an old Enligsh pub, because parking at the original location is a pain. The staff at the Pasadena El Cholo really pushes the margaritas because that's where the money is, but this is where I go unless I'm up for a trip to La Serenata.
