Indian food is not that bad! They make it seem like it's so authentic
and pure but trust me, no Indian would rave about it. Take it from an
Indian...save yourself time and money and go somewhere else!

If you want horrible service...over prices food thats not worth it then this is the place to go. Trust me being in LA there are way better Indian restaurants around. I am an Indian and grew up with Indian food...Bombay Cafe is not worth your time or money!!!
They missed half the order then bugged us to pay the bill before even eating the meal. They were VERY disrespectful and annoying! It is no way to treat a guest or any person. It was a disgrace to Indians!!!

My husband I have been eating there for many years and we absolutely love it! We bring all our friends and business accociates to the restaurant and even have them cater for us.
Their food is authentic and just like at home, light and flavorful. I absolutely recommend it as the best Indian restaurant in Los Angeles

A friend brought me here once a few years ago, and now I am a devoted fan. I have travelled all over India and can attest to the authenticity of this food. So many times I've enjoyed the Makhni Tikka (butter chicken) and onion naan. I crave this food. This is the highest Zagat-rated for Indian food in Los Angeles (24 for food), so don't take my word for it, find out the truth for yourself. You'll be amazed and addicted.

I really like this restaurant. It may not be authentic Indian food, but it tastes good. I love their chutneys and their vegetarian dishes. My only complaint is that the portions are fairly small.

This is the most insipid food ever. As an Indian I am appaled at the bland, tasteless fare they pass off. Believe me, Indian food is nothing like the "food" here - and nor should it be.
The restaurant thrives on the great and undeserved PR -see the review in this section and opinions of people who don't know better.
Please don't waste your money - the Westside has way better stuff - Claypit, Ambala Dhaba, All India Cafe, Nirvana Lounge, Pradeep's...
