This Armenian mini-chain arguably serves the best fast-food chicken in town. Massive rotisseries turn out plump, juicy birds with a delicate crust that the Colonel can only fantasize about, and the prices are rock bottom.

Pita bread and a killer garlic paste come with the chicken, and a combo plate includes hummus, tomatoes and pickled turnips, too. The tarna (chicken shawarma) plate, complete with the signature garlic paste, bread, hummus, tahini, tomatoes and pickled turnips, is equally enthusiastically recommended.

Also available are falafel, sandwiches, stuffed grape leaves, tabbouli salad and baklava for dessert. There are tables here, but this is primarily a take-out operation. Dinner for two: $15.

Zach Hollywood,

Best food value in Hollywood. The chicken is the star of the show. The falafel and hummus are pretty good too. I've tried the shwerma and kabob but nothing ever tops the chicken. Get it to-go, not only because the dining room is depressing but also because I think they hook you up with more food.
