Fred Torance, CALorenzo made me curious when he wrote twice that Musso's had received a B rating. Was it true? Or did "Lorenzo" have an axe to grind? So I checked and Musso's has received three A ratings in a row from the health department. Look for yourself: http://www.lapublichealth.org/rating/ratedetail.cfm March 23, 2007
Susie Rosales LOS ANGELES, caI used to work there before, I was night shift cashier, only cashier in the restaurant. STREESS YES!!! The restaurant itself it's pretty good, the waiters are the best, specially SERGIO, if you ever visit this place , make sure SERGIO is your waiter,All the waiter are super nice, FElLX the cat was my favorite , with his magic tricks. I miss them all. Food it so good , The Salmon is fabolous! YUM ! June 17, 2006
mark nashville, tnI have enjoyed musso's for 15 years and a lot of really good times there. Great service at the bar and at the grill. A generous tip or a not so discretely palmed ten dollars will ingratiate you and quickly move you along the ladder of regulars especially if there is a long wait for a table. martinis are the way to go and grilled steak to sober you up. It is a great place to take out of towners for the old time feeling. excellent air conditioning on a hot summer afternoon. December 27, 2005
lorenzo l.a., caI just checked today. Musso and Frank has a roaring 87 from the health department and a B rating. Bon appetit! December 25, 2005
Robert Calkin North Hollywood, CAThis is one of the best restaurants here in L.A. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool. The drinks are great, as is the seafood (the oysters are the bomb!) and the cracked crab and the crab cocktails better than anything else around. Where else can you get corned beef and cabbage? PLUS, they are open until eleven, an L.A. rarity. The service is impeccable. What more do you want, vegan food? December 23, 2005
lorenzo l.a., caYawn. I would never take anybody here and would discourage starstruck out-of-towners from going. The movie crowd deserted this place about the time Thelma Todd was killed, leaving it to the "Guy Noir" tourists. December 23, 2005
Don Lake Los Angeles, CAI used to go there every Friday for over 25 years. I stopped two years ago. I had several very bad meals. Not a safe area at night any more. Not recommended. Sadly the old quality is no longer there. December 22, 2005
Patricia Mullins Culver City, CAOne of the few remaining authentic chop houses. Comforting meatloaf & chicken pot pies like my mother made. The waiters are professional, patient and old. Order a Manhattan or martini up and you'll get the real deal - with a bonus sidecar containing nearly another whole drink. Enjoy your drink in a booth where the Barrymores probably sat. Musso's never disappoints. December 22, 2005
Buck Bouvier Hollywood, CAI have been eating at Musso's for over 35 years and it's still one of the best in LA. Class and good food....I have been going there for so long that I actually remember many of the wait staff when they were novices. December 22, 2005
Jack Los Angeles, CAOverrated and way over priced. Look again LA Times. Last time I passed by they had a B from the Health dept. Return to Musso & Frank Grill venue details
