This place is like a storybook!! Great food, and the band on Friday - the Ploughboys - was THE BEST CELTIC BAND I have EVER SEEN and heard. They are funny, and incredibly skilled at what they do. I am soooo going back!

I LVE This place! Just went last night; saw the band The Ploughboys, and was completely blown away! They are funny, clever, and unbelievably talented. The food was great, the service, top notch, and while we planned to go in for a quick drink, we ended up staying all night long. Viva the Tam!!!

As a regular at the Tam I have to say the food is still wonderful and ther service top notch but this house band, The Ploughboys, have overstayed its welcome. Nothing fresh or new, way to loud now and they have lost the fresh, good time feel they used to have. Now we just feel as if they are telling us we are lucky to be in their presence. How about bringing some class and taste back? What happened to George Cavanaugh?

The Tam O' Shanter is the place to be Thursday and Friday nights! The Ploughboys music is infectuous and brilliant!

How can you miss? Terrific food, terrific band on Friday nights, audience participation and the best hand carved sandwiches this side of Derry. Make it a point to come and try it out you won't be sorry.

This is one of the best restaurants in LA. It has genuine atmosphere most places would die for. Friday nights are the BEST - their house pub band the Ploughboys, make it feel like The Isles - funny, racous, and very, very good.

This is the best kept secret in L.A. The food is great a bit pricey but worth every penny.

Any one who says the Tam O' Shanter is anything but the best is crazy! The have the Best Filet Mignon in a blue cheese sauce and my whole family just raves about the Prime Rib. The atmosphere and quality of service put the Tam over the top. I'm eating there tonight!!
