Foodie Q Santa Monica, LASimply artistic. Not may restaurants can compete with Chaya when it comes to flavor and creativity. I was quite disappointed with the food scene in LA since moving from NYC, but this place changed it. I had the seared snapper with truffle sauce and celery root puree. The truffle sauce was surprisingly delicate and balanced well with the fish that was cooked crispy on the outside. The celery rood puree that accompanied the dish had its own distinct flavor. Dralion Orange County, CAPhenomenal is a gross understatement. A benchmark and the original when it comes to Fusion cuisine French Asian. Ten years plus of making happy palates. The taste of the food here is unparalled. Atmosphere is very chic and contemporary not out dated at all. I wouldn't show up in shorts or jeans. October 6, 2004
Chase Fairmont West Hollywood, CAI always tell people that the atmosphere at Chaya may be lacking, but the food is always exceptional. The menu is fairly small, but every dish sounds delicious and often are. I've taken friends here several times, and they've always enjoyed their food immensely. I would have to agree that the restaurant is a little outdated, but I don't believe in rapid turn over simply because a venue endures. The fish dishes are consistently good, and I've been told that the lamb is phenomenal. The rolls are interesting, and the apple tart is wonderful. Service is quick and unobtrusive, which is how it should be in such a casual setting. Return to Chaya Brasserie venue details
