John O'Groats
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Readers' rating: Reader reviews: Write a review ![]() Michael Rudd John O'Groats is all about breakfast--the kind packed with good old-fashioned, hearty dishes such as eggs, oatmeal, biscuits and bacon. If you want a delicious breakfast and you're willing to wait for it, a meal here might just make your weekend. If you're not ready--or willing--to wait for a table (on the weekends, at least) don't bother coming; the line outside this eatery is as permanent a fixture as its sign. Loyal locals who do brave the crowds know what edible rewards await them. Breakfast at John O'Groats is a tried and true delightful way to start the day.
Located on the south side of Pico Boulevard, just west of the Rancho Park Golf Course.--Janet Ginsburg Reader Reviews
