Il Sole
Hours: Sun.-Thu., 6 p.m.-10:30 p.m.; Fri.-Sat., 6-11 p.m. Readers' rating: Reader reviews: Write a review | Read other reviews This pretty little trattoria, on the westernmost end of Sunset Plaza, has a small, shaded patio and a menu of Italian classics such as pappa al pomodoro (a hearty tomato-bread soup) and spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and crushed red pepper. At night, flickering candles add romance. But the restaurant is famously popular with Hollywood dealmakers too.

Mary Hollywood, CAHip Scene, Decent food - nothing extraordinary, excellent wine selection. Management and service did gossip a lot about people in the crowd. If you weren't "somebody", you felt it. May 14, 2006
Gerome Noble West Hollywood, CAThe food is over rated. The scene is exciting but the management is nosey and gossips about who's there. The ambience is great. Good but not great and not bad. May 21, 2005
Bonnie Los Angeles, CAAbsolutely perfect!! Friendly greeting, no attitude, extraordinary service and food. Write a review | Read more reviews Venue Details
