Every person at Geoffrey's has always been very pleasant. The food is quite nice. Not extraordinary, but very good. We had the Mussels, Argentine Shrimp and a poached pear and goat cheese salad. But really,I go for the realestate. It's a magical serene place perched, literaly hanging over the Pacific with the full on Santa Monica Bay view. I NEVER go on weekends. Maybe that's why I've found it so terrific. Most of us 'locals' know weekdays are best for EVERYTHING, in LA County.

A rip off! The most arrogant staff in the world- I swear - Overpriced, long wait - only 3 tables for 2 persons each that actually overlook the ocean. Try and get one of them... The valet guy is out of order and almost as rude as the manager. Try to bribe everyone, maybe you'll get somewhere. what that prce to pay for an ocean view...

The food absolutely horrid, the scene, what scene? At nighttime, you can't see the ocean. The seafood was gross, fish tasted old and pungent. Steak was really bland and their house champagne, absolutely a joke. Like gasoline. This place sucks.

We were 25 physicians invited for a presentation. Our host had set up a pre-set menu. My dad has a dietary restriction and couldn't eat anything off the pre-set menu. So I politely asked the manager if my dad could order off the regular menu, and I'd pay for it separately. In response, she yelled, "I'VE ALREADY DONE ENOUGH FOR THOSE TABLES; I'M NOT ACCOMODATING YOU!!!" Just like that. The refusal of a simple accomodation was shocking, but the arrogance and yelling were out of line.

Had 7 people for Sunday Brunch 9/23/06 to celebrate Mom's 70th birthday.Terrible service, useless hostess, lack of first class food and service and when I phoned to speak with the manager about my experience he was too busy to speak with me then, rushed me off the phone with the promise of returning my call and I never heard from him.Shame! One of my favorite resturants that has lost it's promise of great service and food!
