The turtle races do rock. Great beer selection, fun atmosphere, all in a place where you can actually have a conversation. What a concept in SoCal these days.

One of the few places I recall actually having a decent time on St. Patty's. Usually I avoid the Irish places altogether. They rope off part of the parking lot for more space.

If it's the 17th of March you better get there early and I mean really early. The bar opens at 6AM and the line starts forming at 5:30AM. There's nothing better than a Guinness follwed by a black and tan on your way to work. It's a fun crowd and you'll see the same faces every year, bring cash, no CC on this day...the DOHERTY's will be there.

Thursday night Turtle Races are the funniest thing Ive ever seen. Who would have ever thought their is rules to such a sport. Strange rules, too. Brennan's is a cool place to go for a good laugh, since both emcee's are very funny.
