Anthony Cuesta Los Angeles/Eagle Rock, CAMy wife and I love La Pergola. It's special that the vegetables are largely homegrown. The menu always included dishes to satisfy everyone at the table. We never experienced any "bait and switch" ploy with the wine. How anyone could criticize the decor and atmosphere is a mystery. As business owners, we value patron's opinions. We hope this review levels the playing field. October 26, 2007
Jennifer Pentinsky Beverly Hills, CaI was there last night for dinner with several friends. The biggest disappointment. Food without any taste. I will never go back there. Food very very expensive. When I ordered a spaghetti dish I was told that there is no such a pasta in the menu, inspite of being an Italian restaurant? 0 ambiance and by 9.00 pm we where the only guest Just do your self a favor don't go there. mauro los angeles, caThe food is terrible, the worst, poor quality and very expensive. The place has no ambiance. There are better Italian restaurants in the valley. Dont Go, or you will be sorry August 5, 2007
ron bronow sherman oaks, caALL TIME WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE. We ordered $28 bottle of Chianti. , . When the bill arrived, the $28 was crossed out, replaced by $65. When I questioned this, the owner informed us that the bottle was presented to us and we drank it, making it our responsibility. ABSURD. Nobody mentioned this when the wine was poured. When I asked for the waiter, he stated that he went home (at 8 PM) He again refused to lower the price. Talk about bait and switch. DON'T GO THERE. Return to La Pergola venue details
