Le Petit Greek Restaurant
127 N. Larchmont Blvd.
L.A., CA
323-464-5160

Multicultural Los Angeles offers a plethora of ethnic dining opportunities, particularly from Latin America and the Pacific Rim. But Greek cuisine is not as well represented as it could be. Aside from the several high-profile Greek restaurants in town, we seem to have a shortage of the cozy neighborhood tavernas that give us opportunities to enjoy this classical cuisine. Le Petit Greek, with a second location at the Westside's Beverly Connection, is a well-priced eatery offering quality cuisine from the Greek isles and adjoining Mediterranean region.

The restaurant serves the most popular Greek dishes, such as hummus, taramasalata, dolmades, pastitsio, lamb shank, moussaka, kebabs and baklava. White linens cover the tables, and the dining room is decorated with a tasteful splash of green. In typical Larchmont Village fashion, many tables spill out onto the wide sidewalk for some fine al fresco dining. -- Roger J. Grody
