John M Irvine, CAHands down the best Indian restaurant in Orange County. I've been to everything from Maharaja's, to Royal Khyber and Saagar, and nothing comes close to the authentic dishes offered here. Don't be scared away by the location or the relatively plain furnishings! I'd recommend the Dinner for 2 (includes chutneys, mixed grill, a vegetable dish, chicken tikka masala - the best around! - and dessert - the Kheer is great!), and they also offer an unbelievable weekday lunch buffet for around $6. John Tustin, CAThis is the unquestionable dark horse of Indian restaurants out there. Do not look at this hole-in-the-wall and walk away. The food here is to die for. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and my girl had the Vegetable Khorma. This is, without a doubt, the BEST Indian food around! I sincerely hope they will be around long enough for me to enjoy their food for a good many more years. You will HATE the atmosphere. The manager never smiles and is about as friendly as a doormat. But the food! December 31, 2007
