I have been going to Molly's for over ten years. I have seen some excellent live music there. it is a great place if you like young musicians. The Guniess is always good, but I would eat at the Farmer's Market up the street. I LOVE MOLLY's!

Back in the mid-70's my friend (whose name was in a Dublin Phone Book they keep behind the bar) and I spent many a memorable night in Molly's....we chose to do so because of the homeiness and casual atmosphere...even on St.Pat's there was a positive feeling of shared happiness as opposed to problems...even though the line to get in was around the block...

It's dark and cool on a hot day. There is no better place to sit with a beer on a Friday afternoon.

even though the addition of the second room with the stage is better in many ways, i find i don't like the club so much and don't go there so often as i used to. in a way, it made it more impersonal, and took away from the ambiance.

A little cramped, but lively. If you want the atmosphere of a small pub, then this place is great. Service is OK.
