Molly Malone’s, an Irish pub and Mid-City fixture on Fairfax Avenue, features an average of four acts and 26 nights of music in a 30-day month.

Molly Malone's has been the stray Irish Rovers' pub of choice for more than 30 years in Los Angeles. Molly's is rivaled only by neighboring Tom Bergin's as the place to be for the wearing of the green. Both have diehard fans, but Molly's is the more contemporary of the two. The low-priced fare at Molly's is solid Eire, just what you'd expect -- but there's a lot you might not expect, such as T-bone steaks or even tacos. They're better known for their libations (especially the Irish Coffee), and for practically any draught you'd hope for. It's a beer lovers' bar; a local favorite with a dark, old-fashioned interior that attracts the neighbors en masse. Molly's also features lots of live music and Guiness Stout on tap. What more could you need?

I have been going to Molly's for over ten years. I have seen some excellent live music there. it is a great place if you like young musicians. The Guniess is always good, but I would eat at the Farmer's Market up the street. I LOVE MOLLY's!

Back in the mid-70's my friend (whose name was in a Dublin Phone Book they keep behind the bar) and I spent many a memorable night in Molly's....we chose to do so because of the homeiness and casual atmosphere...even on St.Pat's there was a positive feeling of shared happiness as opposed to problems...even though the line to get in was around the block...
