Diznykd Westminster, CAI've been coming to this restaurant for 40 yrs. The best prime rib anywhere, nice ambience, good drinks, great for any occasion. We have never had a dinner there that wasn't perfect. My favorite restaurant, hands down, including their sister restaurant near me, the Four Crowns (not nearly as good and much pricier), and I highly recommend it. If you haven't had Lawry's prime rib, you haven't lived. Anyone who tells you it isn't that good, needs to get out more!!! June 23, 2006
shawn Hollywood, CAI agree with the above post - the lighting and the acoustics morph the experience into that of a Las Vegas Buffet. The Tam's the place to go. December 22, 2005
Kevin A. Jenkins Los Angeles, CAThere are other restaurants on the "row" but for good old fashioned clog your arteries and fill you up red meaters, this is the place. I prefer Ruth Chris for a first date but this place isn't a bad second date spot either. April 7, 2005
erock Los Angeles, CAThe food is great, but I'd enjoy it more if they dimmed the lights a bit. The bright lights make the place feel more like a cafeteria than an elegant dining room. Return to Lawry's the Prime Rib venue details
