Cassell's Hamburgers
Hours: Mon.-Sat., 10:30 a.m-4 p.m. Readers' rating: Reader reviews: Write a review | Read other reviews Cassell's makes big, meaty, thick 'n' juicy burgers. They're burgers worth driving for -- burgers worth eating. There's a lot of crosstown rivalry-talk regarding Cassell's and the Westside's beloved Apple Pan -- but that's just a lot of politics. If what you're interested in is a mouthwatering burger, come to Cassell's. Cassell's also makes a mean ham sandwich, and they'll even do you up a Garden burger if you like. Burgers here come in two sizes -- big and huge (one-third of a pound and two-thirds of a pound, respectively). Top them with any one of Cassell's host of homemade condiments -- and help yourself to the creamy potato salad. Cassell's closes at 4 p.m.; make sure you get there early.
