I have to say, I've been going to Toscana for quite a few years ... it's not that great! I've stopped since one of the GM left, then two of nicest waiters ... and then the head chief left ... now,why do you think all those people left???? I wonder ....

Toscana is our favorite restaurant. The food is always very delicious and the restaurant has terrific energy. The pesto pasta is great as is the chicken and fish and beef.
The rissottos are creamy and delicious. We think all the food has the yum factor. We travel all over the world for food and wine and we still love Toscana.

I recently had dinner at this LA hot-spot and I was disappointed. After speaking to some friends I learned that the restaurant is running without a head chef. It has been running like this for several months. Toscana who do you think your fooling.

Several years ago when the Wine Spectator published its L.A. edition, it listed Valentinos the best restaurant in the city. However, some of the local celebs said that they enjoyed Toscana. GQ magazine, at the same time ran an interview with Sharon Stone who took the writer to Toscana. Since then I have been to Valentino once and Toscana about twenty times. You can guess which one felt like eating in a morgue. If only the airfare to LA wasn't so expensive.

I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT ALL THE BUZZ IS ABOUT?? I THINK IT IS OUTRAGEOUS THAT THE DESSERTS ARE SITTING ON AN OPEN COUNTER TOP WHERE EVERYONE CAN SNEEZE, COUGH AND WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE!! THE WAITERS MAY BE FRIENDLY BUT THAT DOES NOT COMPENSATE FOR THE QUALITY OR THE TASTE OF THE FOOD. THIS RESTAURANT IS VERY OVER RATED.

what a great place! simple food that you can eat over and over again. the wait staff is so friendly it feels like you have left los angeles. wine list is wonderful and has some great bargains among italy's best. highly reccommend toscana. also amazingly kid friendly.
