Depending on your craving, the Magnolia burger or the grilled artichoke with aioli can hit the spot.

One relative newcomer half a block east of Sunset and Vine keeps a late-night kitchen and a most-of-the-day kitchen too, staying open from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and till 2 a.m. on other days. That means when you wander out of a club or the late show at the ArcLight any night of the week bleary-eyed and ravenous, not to fret, you can always pop into Magnolia for a burger or a BLT.

The combination of good looks, reliably good (if not great) cooking and moderate prices at the 6-month-old Hollywood restaurant is one that's almost impossible to find in L.A.

I have eaten at Magnolia twice. As long as you make a reservation you should be pretty safe as far a waiting to be seated. The food is great if you go with the solids like the Cobb Salad, Skirt Steak, Magnolia Burger, Tuna Tar tare, Mac 'n Cheese. These are all great and packed with flavor. The staff is adequate. But the vibe is cool and last time I was in I saw Jeremy Piven so it is a bit of Hollywood hangout. If thats your scene that you will for sure like Magnolia.

This place is the best. this is a perfect neighborhood restaurant. we go at least once a week and its an absolutely DELICIOUS menu with a great wine list and the best part is its not breaking the bank. The hostess are lovely and our server JB is just fantastic!!!!...we LOVE it here!!!

Horrible service by a woman who claimed to be the "owner." I don't think the "owner" would treat customers the way she did. This woman asked me, my wife and another couple to leave because I asked how long until we sat since we were waiting for 35 minutes with reservations. If you can't deliver service you need to get out of the restaurant business. I wonder what her partners would think about this woman and the way she treated us. Don't even bother going there.
