We went to Ciudad before our show at the Mark Taper this weekend. Ciudad is the perfect blend of different elements. Great wine list, most from South America or Spain, perfect mojitoes, small plates to share that make eating fun. We had the rib eye stuffed with garlic and jalapenos!! To die for!!!! I personally have never had anything like it before. They also have a shuttle that runs to the theatres, for free. Dont forget to order the bread pudding!!! So sweet!!!!!!

What a great restauant.... I went there for my bachelorette party, and everybody had a great time. Really busy, fun, and amazing cocktails. The whole restaurant was very busy on a tuesday nite, but the service was excellent. I would definitely reccommend this place to anyone who wants to eat some yum yum!!!!!

amazing. we will be back. we just went there last nite, and the room was packed with all sorts of folks. truly la.. yeah, things took a little bit of time to get there, but its not fast food. our party enjoyed hanging out for hours, sipping cocktails, and slowly eating the nite away. mojitos are amazing, as well as pisco sours, piscoritas. also, try the ribeye steak that has been stuffed with jalapenos and garlic. yum!!!!!!!!!!!

The mojitos are okay( it's not that hard to make a good one), but like everything else a little overpriced and the wait to get it is ridiculous. The food is also okay, especially if you like heartburn. The patio is the best part of the whole experience, it just can't compensate for all of the other shortcomings.

A surprise dinner for my birthday a few years ago. Overpriced and exaggerated menu. I would rather spend the fifty bucks in an ELA or Boyle Heights hole in the wall. The service was slow and the food cold. I had the Carne Asada (Flank Steak). The crowd was touristy and hipster. Never been back. Love the Border Grill though (Take out only). It was one cold tamale.

Ciudad is better than ever. We went to Ciudad over the weekend and had an amazing dinner. The dining room was packed, as well as the bar. We had the goat cheese fritters which were amazing, as well as the ceviche. Our server was really kind and brought us dessert on the house for my mother's birthday. The food is not the most creative in town, but if you want to be in a festive, upbeat environment with great food, i would definitely reccomend this place. Ill be back!!!!!!!!
