francis guilardi los angeles, caI have to agree with everyone on here. Please do not go this "El Cholo," it is nothing like the real deal original in K-Town. The service was horrible, food was horrible, everything was bad. Do not get the seafood, b/c it tastes old, the shrimp was rubbery, the crab was really rank, and they screwed up our order, even though we expressly told them no cheese, they still brought it out. They sat us in wedding chairs in a very small table. Absolutely horrible. February 6, 2006

Simon LA, CAA disappointment, not up to the standards of the original run by the Dad. Too corporate, and the food is blah. Nice building but looks like a set at Universal.
