Authentic gelato meets Italian comfort food.

Popular food: Eggplant pizza; soup of the day in a huge bowl (pray for mushroom barley); everything comes with basket of the softest homemade bread.

Unique food: Cabernet-flavored gelato.

Drinks: Flavored San Pellegrino, ice cream floats, Italian sodas, coffee drinks.

Seating: Tables, sidewalk tables.

Ambience: 1980s style meets art deco; first dates, families, kids after school.

Extras/Notes: If you can't eat it here, take home some gelato. Excellent pizzas, sandwiches, homemade pastas and soups, great dessert. A neighborhood favorite since 1978.

Parking: Metered street parking.
