Ed Los Angeles, CaThis place is a hole in the wall but the food id great and cheap. The Chilaqiles verdes, Enchilades de pollo, and Huaraches especially the hogados are my favorite. The agua de pepino (cucumber water) is incredibly refreshing. I've also had the tortas, taquitos de pollo and gordias. All are good. This place is worth every penny and then some. You will not be disappointed. May 28, 2007
Peter South Pasadena, CAAll the food is delicious and surpassingly filling. The asada and pollo are the best meats to try(the pork is a little crunchy.) I recommend the Huaraches and quesidilla. The tortas are good but don't stand out. The best item on the menu though are marvelous, fresh fruit drinks. A giant glass in only $2.00. May 19, 2007
Andrew LA, CAI heard Jonathan Gold rave about this place on KCRW. Has anyone checked it out? Do they have fried grasshopper tortas? Return to El Huarache Azteca 1 venue details
