Alejo’s is located in small corner mall that is undistinguished except for being home to Alejo’s and a 7-11 that caters to Alejo’s customers with an unusually wide wine selection (for a 7-11). The restaurant is a very popular spot; there is nearly always a significant wait for a table on Sunday evenings. The attraction is the tasty food, reasonable prices and the friendly atmosphere. It is not unusual to end up sharing a bottle of wine with total strangers at an adjacent table.
