Crazy Fish
Hours: Mon.-Fri., 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; Sun.-Thu., 5:15-10:30 p.m.; Fri.-Sat., 5:15-11 p.m. Readers' rating: Reader reviews: Write a review Still on the "in" list, this tiny sushi house on Olympic draws a serious cult following, and it's got nothing to do with its strangely '80s decor. People sign up on the waiting list for what's made this place famous for decades: fresh, affordable fish, and "anything-but-traditional" rolls that encourage sushi amateurs to "go raw." It also offers an energetic, youthful alternative to the snootier sushi joints banking on the Beverly Hills zip code, which is worth its weight in sashimi. Of course, it's all served up with a good dose of la-la land attitude, and often revelers have to wait what seems like an eternity for a table. Still, it seems worth it somehow...
