Elena Greek Armenian Cuisine
Reader reviews: Write a review | Read other reviews It's hard to say exactly what's Greek about Elena's Greek and Armenian Cuisine. It does have gyros, but that sort of kebab sliced from a vertical spit is not unknown in Armenian (or Lebanese) cuisine, and neither are stuffed grape leaves. Maybe it's just the copies of classical statuary that adorn this otherwise plain, institutional-green room. The food is quite good--the luleh kebab rather spicy, the beef kebab very tender. You get a little plate of pickled cabbage along with the usual rice and grilled vegetables.

Jenn Los Angeles, CAWe have been going to this wonderful restaurant for 28 of their 30 years. It is very low key and inexpensive, but they make the most tender and moist chicken kabob you will ever have. The stuffed grape leaves are served warm with a yogurt sauce, absoultely wonderful. It is worth driving to from the westside. August 14, 2007
Art Glendale, CaI love the gyros at this place, most of the time I order the gyros. They put yogurt sauce and cucumbers on in, and its to die for. The pork chops are good too, well done. I would recommend this place. But they do get busy at lunch time. July 1, 2007
Sandy Los Angeles, CAThe food was great, but the service was functional at best, to put it politely. Personally, I would not return. If you are looking for good value for money, the prices are reasonable. Good luck. Write a review | Read more reviews Venue Details
