consistently great food! The "Basque" people never met anyone they didn"t like! Of course I'm a bit prejudice--I used to work for the family! My husband & I still visit as often as we can--everytime we go there we are always greeted & treated as family! I love this resturant and the family owners!

Highly recommended for its good food, excellent value for your money and relaxed atmosphere (out of the ordinary because of the restaurant's Western American Basque cowboy/sheepherder boardinghouse origins). Great for families, the larger the better, it seems. Children are welcome. Your choice of "boarding house style" dining or a private table; Old fashioned, polite, efficient and respectful service from a good natured staff.

My family has been attending the Basque restaurant for the past fifteen years. Family dining is the only way for us – the atmosphere is more than half the attraction. The first time we inadvertently sat amongst some of the greatest "characters' we've met there to date. Seeing how much we were enjoying ourselves, Bernadette spontaneously came up with a quote we have re-used for 15 years: "This place is filled with friends you just haven't met yet".
