Helen Santa Monica, CAThis is my favorite place! Best Guinness in town! Happy hour prices are so reasonable, you'll feel like you're stealing! August 13, 2007
Scott SLO, CAThis place is not a legal pub, they serve 16oz glasses calling them pints when 20oz's is the legal standard pint.- Expensive, expensive, expensive and they want they're 15% tips on top of their expensive prices. If you want a drink that is a legal pub, it has to serve 20oz as a pint for example. Don't get ripped off here. April 30, 2007
Christina Redondo Beach, CAI love this place. I'm pretty selective about the bars/pubs I hit, and this is absolutely one of the best. It's a must-visit for both tourists and locals. The people are real (no pretentious people here, thank God), the drinks are good... and the staff is nice. And if you love football/soccer, you'll love this place. February 9, 2007
Nikki Los Angeles, CAThis place is the absolute perfect spot for better than average pub food, perfect bartenders & excellent service.....one problem.....you can't smoke anymore.......OUTSIDE that is. Leave it friggin Santa Monica January 31, 2007
brian santa monica, maThe beer was good, and cool atmosphere- but I went there to try the Fish & Chips that had good reviews. I was quite disappointed when I had to dig through the mushy thick crust. December 27, 2006
Liz Sierra Vista, AZMust visit when I'm in town. October 25, 2006
Blaine Venice, CABest Brit pub in LA. GOOD: Friendly service (most staffers from the UK); you'll be treated like a regular. GREAT food: fish n' chips, sausage rolls, shepherd's pie, even liver & onions! Watch a soccer or rugby match as you dine pub-style in 1 of the 2 bar areas OR have a quiet meal by a wood-burning fire in 1 of the 3 cozy dining rooms. 1 BAD note: the music played here is as bad as everything else is good. Load up the jukebox for good tunes. Great place to escape "the scene" in LA. October 11, 2006
NB LA, CAAmazing. October 11, 2006
Steve-O Playa del Rey, CAPlace always has been and I suspect always will be one of the best joints around. The new owners were smart enough to not F C K around with the UK Vibe and the addition of Peter from Liverpool really gels the whole experience. You wil not be disappointed so have a side car and the fish chips. Best clam chowder around as well... March 17, 2006
FG McCarthy Los Angeles, CASimply brilliant --the best place for a proper pint. Return to Ye Olde King's Head venue details
