Bob Cambridge sherman oaks, caIt is very rare that during a meal you say to yourself mmmmm. I do this with every entree that I order. Wine Bistro is clearly 4 a's June 4, 2006
Lexy Calderone, CAVery tired menu and atmosphere. This one is a miss. Food is smothered in sauces. Not very good and lots of salt! November 20, 2005
Cliff Sherman Oaks, CAI've been going to the Wine Bistro for years, but the food and atmosphere have improved dramatically in the last two years. With a kitchen that's open all afternoon it's a great place for an outdoor late lunch of Carribean beef on puff pastry! Also, if you rate the back right booth, you can enjoy a private, candlelight dinner that will impress a fussy client or a deserving spouse. October 22, 2005
Stella Marcroft Los Angeles, CAMy husband and I loved it. The food was great, but the best was the atmosphere. Lots is going on there! The owner J.B. is the best host in town Stella October 21, 2005
George R Los Angeles, CAA restaurant that does credit to it's "bistro" name - a concept disappearing elsewhere. How wonderful to have moules mariniere, roast duckling, and filet mignon with peppercorn sauce!! Owner / Host J B Torchon knows 75% of his customers, giving the establishment a very friendly flavor (like Cheers - "Where everybody knows your name"). Come early for a casual dinner, or arrive later for the livelier bar scene that starts as early as 9:30 during the week and can go on till the wee hours....... October 15, 2005
Mark N. Studio City, CAThe Wine Bistro is a great place with a split personality. For lunch or dinner it is a classic French Bistro. Wonderful food, good service and the owner JB always makes it fun. The bar is just like a "Cheers" with some great regulars and a lot of fun. After the regular dinner crowd is gone, JB turns up the music and you can dance and the fun is non-stop. I have closed the bar many times. October 7, 2005
Marilyn Bradley Burbank, CAIf you’re looking for a place where you can dine in elegance and comfort then this is the place. The outside area is reminiscent of Paris cafes where one can eat, drink and watch the busy nightlife on Ventura. There is a wide selection of food dishes as well as daily specials and a very French prix fixe menu. Of course the desserts are an absolute necessity. Combine great food, spacious bar area and friendly greetings from the owner JB and you’ll have a dining experience you'll never forget. October 7, 2005
Jack McGrath Valley Village, CAMy wife and I feel like we have gone to the old Hollywood restaurants when visiting the Wine Bistro in Studio City. Never a bad meal, with prompt service and attention to detail. My wife loves their seafood dishes, especially lobster filled raviolis and sauteed ships, which she would die for. We always have a drink at the bar which is very cozy and intimate. The owner, JB from Paris, has worked hard to make the Wine Bistro the place in Studio City for fine dining Return to Wine Bistro venue details
