charlie A Southbay,

We used to eat here for lunch at least once per week. Never for dinner as it's ridiculously expensive. This place has gone way down hill as they cater mostly to tourists and really do not expect return business. Nice view but that;'s about it. Much better places to eat nearby within 1/4 miles so why bother.

Attitude was they didn't expect return visits - tourists only. 20 minutes after being seated, a rude waitress came by and asked if we were having dinner. No menus were offered. We said a drink would be fine. No wine list or drink menu and no appetizer menu offered or available. She took the drink order, disappeared for 15 more minutes. No napkin or coaster for the very expensive, dripping drinks. Bill came much later than desired. Never again!

Kincaid's is a reliable place to take out-of-towners-- there's something on the menu to please anyone, the food's tasty, drinks are generous, and the atmosphere is lively. And of course the view's not bad. It's not fine dining, but it's satisfying dining. Service is always pleasant and effective, if not uber-professional.

we were terribly disappointed by kincaid's right from the beginning. as we entered, there were 2 hostesses that spoke to us in a rude manner and reluctantly showed us in. our waiter was not friendly and was slow in service. and to bottom out this review, the food was quite average to poor. lastly, i'm not sure if they were anti-French but instead of listing the dessert as "creme brulee" they called it "burnt cream"! that is ridiculous. the best thing about kincaid's is the veiw from the patio.
