I used to frequent The Standard when it was much easier to get in, but as the previous reviewer stated...it's a mess. The staff is rude and indifferent to patrons with little to offer at the roof-top but a an expensive drink and a nice view. Crowd can be hit or miss depending on the weather, of course. Best time to go is during the week to ensure admittance, just make sure you get there before midnight. Over all, it's a cool view of the city -- that's it. - R.

Don't bother. The ambiance of this place is cool, but the attitude of the staff is horrible. I've never been treated as poorly at a club as I was here. I don't see what the rooftop deck can have to offer - the building isn't even that tall and the ambiance of the first floor bar can easily be found elsewhere. Clearly this place suffers from it's attempts to make itself cool by refusing entry and keeping a large group waiting outside. I'll never go back.
