Madame Matisse

Step into Madame Matisse and you're transported to those lovely Parisian or
Roman
neighborhood storefronts. Here, you can't go wrong with a beet, apple, Gorgonzola
and
candied-walnut salad or a perfectly cooked steak au poivre with a mean green
peppercorn
sauce served with a bubbling, creamy potato au gratin.

Mike L.A., This place just went down the drain under the new ownership. No soup, because its to labor intensive to make and that was the best thing there. Stay away. El pollo loco is a better substitute. July 30, 2007

Mahesh Nagarajan Los Angeles, CAThis is a great little French restaurant on Sunset. Extremely affordable and no corkage. Fantastic salds and soups perhaps the best Apple Tart tatin that I have ever eaten. My friends tell me that the entrees are just as fantastic (i can't comment on this as I am a vegeterian). Highly recommended. Write a review | Read more reviews Venue Details
