Olivia Los Angeles, CAToday, my husband, my 3 years old daughter and I went to this restaurant for a dinner. The food is fine. But the service are terrible. When we get the check, they add 18% gratitude on our check! She said it is because we are new customer! But the fact is we went there so many times since they first opened! And I never heard a restaurant will change 18% for 2 adult and a 3 years old kid! The woman is just horrible! So, if you never been there and have a kid, think twice before you step in! March 9, 2009
John LA, CAThe menu was limited and what was available wasn't impressive. After ordering, the waitress informed me that I had to order at least 5 skewers even though I had order an expensive side and 2 skewers. I told the waitress I did not want to order 5 skewers and she told me I would be charged $2 for not ordering at least 5 skewers!! I ended up spending $20 and wasn't even full! Have you ever heard of something more ridiculus? The yakitori wasn't even that good. I will never go back. Return to Yakitori-ya venue details
