I grew up in Bell and felt a sense of pride to see a Mexican restaurant in my neighborhood strive for something more than tacos or burritos. i would recommend the chiles en nogada and the pozole, but it’s the mole that’s second to none. My favorite is the mole on the enchiladas or over the flautas. for breakfast, you can even have the mole on chilaquiles or huevos rancheros. don't be afraid to try everything on the menu or the daily specials. this place very rarely disappoints.

Very authentic food and good service. My wife had the Chile en Nogada and it was very well prepared and very good. The flan compares to the one from La Serenata de Gariabldi. Fried plantains are good too. This place is a great bargain when you compare it to the more famous places like La Serenata and Babitas Mexicuisine.

Simply put: the best mexican food I ever had (including many states in Mexico). Finally, we have a place that offers authenticity. No burritos! No tortas! No Taco Bell Stuff! ..... Mole, Pepian, Chile Enogada, Nopal Tortilla, and More. If I took the time to write this review..... is because , as a Mexican, I am proud to show off this place as my culture's greatest symbol in LA.
