It felt like Paris. This café with its big antique mirrors and candle light table; made for a great night with my girlfriend. Our server was a very nice man named Garry. Who spoke a little French and helped us out pick out a wine for our meal. The New owner even came out and said hello. It was a delightful evening. I recommend the sea bass and vegetarian couscous, and for dessert Chocolate soufflé. It’s amazing!!

I don`t know how to prepare a egg, but I belave I can do better than this "chef". Over priced. I wouldn`t come back even if it was 10$ per meal. Orrible from the wine to the dessert. The only good thing is the scene...but that doesn`t worth 50$...

One visit was enough. This French bistro wannabe will never be. If you're going to spend this kind of money for this kind of service and and level of food, you'll be better served at any number of other neighborhood eateries (e.g., particularly Yuca's). Don't the favorable reviews read like (probably paid or vested-interest) promos? Getting gypped in France and you have a story to tell; getting gypped at home just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

The food is horrible so as service. Figaro used to be a great place, now is just going down day by day. Not recommended at all, bad experience.

Avoid it. The price is to high without reason. They pretend to give you a very french cousin...well I`m Italian and I have an idea of what french cousin is. If you have the gut to go there and try I suggest the pork that will be dry with some jam on the side. Nothing to do with what is should be. And don`t forget the wine, expensive with no reason.

Over-priced. When they say everything is from France, they mean it. Over-rated. 4 star prices and 1 star service and imagination.

Figaro Bistrot offers you a unique experience with delightful cuisine and wines.I have been to Figaro many times and was never disappointed.Excellent service, great ambiance, both at lunch or dinner, with a special crowd. This 100% organic restaurant is a must try in L.A. and is perfect for all occasions. The prices clearly reflect the quality and exquisite food. You can see that they are truly dedicated to what they do and their organic concept.Great experience.Go check it out if you haven't already!

I live up the street and adore the Figaro- however, they are ridiculously over-priced..I realize it's organic, etc...but they would have a much bigger, more loyal dinner crowd if they lowered the price a bit... $50 for a steak is a joke- this is not Malibu... The croissants and coffee are sublime... I go for breakfast- still 2 croissant and 2 coffees- $15.easy. They need to come down off their French high-horse a tiny bit..more locals would come for dinner.

Stopped in for a two person dinner on a Thursday evening just after 5 pm and left two hours later with dreamy eyes and full stomachs. This beautiful French bistrot/bistro looks straight out of Paris and some of the waiters are French. I was shocked at the other reviews - did we go to the same place?? We had a perfect dinner and dessert, perfect service, perfect vibe, perfect everything. I have not one complaint. I urge anyone to go there for lunch, dinner, dessert or what have you.

Poor service! Overpriced. Chairs/tables too close by. Valet guy more friendly than servers.
