Hi, I've been going to Marquez's for years. Any item on the menu is wonderful, but I specially enjoy Pancho's Nightmare burrito (spicy pork n beans). It's HOT!!!!

This place is pretty good. The "nightmare" salsa is just that...a nightmare...but if you like it spicy, that's the sauce for you. You can totally taste the habanero peppers. I've only had the taco and a burrito there. They have both tasted great. This place is worth the try!!

If you love Mexican food, you will love this restaurant, very family oriented, very clean and friendly staff. Everything is made fresh to order, if you like it HOT, try their 'Nightmare' salsa on Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, you won't find food this amazing anywhere else. Try it, you will love it.

Really good food, everything is very good, they even have vegetarian foods. Their vegetarian portabella mushroom torta is fantastic!! They have a variety of salsa's and even a super 'Hot' one from the kitchen if you ask for it. Friendly staff. Nice, cool and very clean. They are not a rip-off for what you get. Their food, service and prices are way better than the old El Tepeyac that use to be here, and they are alot cleaner.

This restaurant is a complete rip-off of the original El Tepeyac. Marquez's is unfairly profiting from the name of the original El Tepeyac (located in East Los Angeles on Evergreen).
Marquez is not associated in any way with the original El Tepeyac. Do not be confused by imitators.
I'm sure that they will be getting a lawsuit served on them very soon.

Food is average. The rice is a bit dry but the taquitos are good. The beans are not as good as some of the other mexican resturants in the Pasadena area. However, one good plus is that they are generous with their guacamole.
