24-hour Korean cafe serving it up fast, cheap and all night long.

Popular food: Everything from bi bim bap to bul go gi to huge bowls of noodle soups.

Drinks: Soft drinks.

Seating: Small tables push together for big parties (can seat up to 50).

Ambience: Spare white modern space bustling with students, dates and groups of twentysomething Koreans.

Extras/Notes: An adventure in communication for non-Korean speakers. Fortunately pictures of the dishes above the counter help break down barriers. Just blocks from Shatto Lanes, one of the city's best bowling alleys.

Parking: Mini-mall lot.

Jun Ho Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA

A good basic place for fast-food Korean. Kinda like a McDonald's style version of Korean food. Usually packed after clubs and a lot of non-Koreans with their Korean friends frequent the place after clubs. After 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, this place is swamped since its one of the few 24 hour Korean restaurants in Koreatown open 365 days a year. Bulgogi avg, kalbi ok and noodle soup dishes including duk-gook, dumpling soup is great! Cheap prices too, great for the 20-30's set.
